Automated Canteen Ordering System Project, Canteen Automation System (CAS) - DBMS Project The objective of this project is to develop a system that automates the process of ordering and managing food in a canteen. This document describes a project to develop a canteen automation system. What,we propose is a Canteen Automation System, which is a technique of ordering foods online applicable in any food delivery industry. The Project “Automated Canteen Management System” enables the end users to register online, read and select the food from e-menu card and order food online by just selecting the food that the user want to have using android application. Gan (Gan, 2002) suggested developing an automated canteen ordering system that would enable customers to place orders at any time and from any location. The system is built using the Django web framework and the Tailwind CSS framework for the frontend design. It highlights the transition from manual ordering methods to an online system that allows users to select and order food via an e-menu card, utilizing technologies such as PHP, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and 4.
